Marc Audet Folk Show comes to Killaloe

 —  —

Garth's Kitchen, 14 Lake Street, Killaloe

This folk show is part of a series of folk shows being offered over the winter in different communities throughout the Ottawa Valley (Deep River, Combermere, Renfrew, Ottawa, Killaloe, Pembroke and Shawville). Garth's Kitchen is a cool lunch cafe in the cool town of Killaloe, home to CHCR Community Radio. This is a free show (no cover), but free will offerings are encouraged, with proceeds going towards recording my next album (2021). Space is limited at this venue, so reservations are highly recommended - 613-281-2285.

The 2 hour folk show includes a mix of original songs, including songs from his 2019 debut album, The River, and favorite folk covers by artists such as John Prine, David Francey, Guy Clarke, Rita McNeil, Ron Hynes, Mac Beattie and more. The sets are designed to follow a storyline, enriching the listening experience, and included in the show are songs and stories about the heritage of the Ottawa Valley. Come out for an afternoon of folksy entertainment and you’ll be sure to learn about unique aspects of our wonderful Ottawa Valley.
